About
A small gate, on purpose.
Kalitka is developed by everycore as an open-source project.
“Kalitka” means a small gate or wicket gate — the narrow door beside the main gate that someone can knock on before being allowed through. That is the whole product in one word: a small, deliberate opening with a person on the other side.
The project stays intentionally narrow: a small core, a strong boundary, and an explicit human decision. It adds an approval layer in front of existing authentication instead of trying to replace identity, VPNs or firewalls.
Development happens in the open, because security-sensitive infrastructure is easier to trust when the code and the security model can be read.
